Brett Carman was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in July 2008. He is responsible for the overall financial and business strategy of the company, including development of a long-term business plan and annual budgets, reporting to the President and General Manager. He oversees finance, accounting, taxation, contracts, pricing, insurance, customer finance and corporate support services. He is also responsible for financial statements and projections as presented to the Board of Directors as well as management of business issues with the Sea Launch partners.

Prior to this position, Carman was Vice President and Controller, responsible for the Accounting, Financial Planning and Reporting requirements for the Sea Launch Company and all related Sea Launch entities. He is the primary contact point for all financial matters of the company.

Prior to joining Sea Launch in 1999, Carman spent the previous 16 years with Rockwell and Boeing, holding several managerial positions within the Finance and Accounting organizations in Downey and Huntington Beach, California, and NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
