Dennis Wiessner was named Vice President and General Counsel of the Sea Launch Company in 2007. He serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors and is responsible for all areas of corporate governance, with responsibility for the company’s legal matters and representation, managing the legal department’s staff and retaining and managing the company’s outside counsel. He also manages litigation, alternate dispute resolution and regulatory affairs. He supports various departments within the company, strengthening and facilitating contractual relationships and financial agreements, etc. In addition, he has responsibility for the human relations department and is also the company’s Ethic’s Officer.

Prior to joining the Sea Launch team in 2002 as Associate Counsel, Wiessner was Senior Counsel for Astrolink International LLC, associated with the firm of McDermott, Will & Emery and Staff Counsel for the Chairman of the U.S. Postal Service Board of Contract Appeals.

Wiessner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law and was a member of the Catholic University Law Review and Moot Court Associate. He was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, and is Registered In-House Counsel in California.
