July 27 - The Sea Launch Commander sets sail for the EchoStar IX/Telstar 13 mission. In a few days, the ship will catch up with the Odyssey Launch Platform and the two vessels will sail together, about three miles apart, in line of sight. The agenda at sea is busy and includes meetings, systems testing and launch rehearsals. At the top of the list is the Safety Drill, when all passengers try on their life vests and report to their Muster Stations. Then they try out the life boats.
