The helo crew observes the beginning of link bridge operations from the helo deck on the Sea Launch Commander. Here, the link bridge is raised up to swing over to the deck of the Launch Platform.

Marion Milinofski, on the Launch Platform, maintains badge access to the link bridge at a station dubbed, "Checkpoint Charlie." Badge access, on each of the vessels, enables the crew to keep track of the location of all passengers and crew.
