Brackets attached to cables hang over the ship's stern ramp.

Johnny Soevik (left), captain of the Commander, and one of his officers, stand by, ready for transfer operations to proceed.

Leonid Gribachev (2nd from left), integrated launch vehicle operations manager, and Dr. Valery Aliev (at right), deputy mission director and rocket segment operations manager, discuss transfer operations with members of their team.

With everything and everyone in position, the rocket rolls out onto the stern ramp, positioned below the hangar of the Launch Platform.

The cables lift the rocket up and into the hangar, where it is positioned on the transporter-erector, inside.
