In late January, Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems delivers the
JCSat-9 communications satellite from their spacecraft assembly facility in Sunnyvale, California. The spacecraft arrives at Sea Launch Home Port on a large flatbed truck and is transferred into the Payload Processing Facility for testing, fueling and encapsulation in a payload fairing, for integration with a Zenit-3SL rocket.
