A crowd gathers on the pier for farewells as the Sea Launch
Commander
prepares to depart Home Port. Here Rob Peckham, president (center), and Keith Dayton, vice president Operations (at right), offer remarks and take a readiness poll of all of the launch segments of the team. They all respond with a resounding "Ready!"  Ivan Klytchnik (at left) translates into Russian.

The French and Korean teams participate in their first departure event.
