The Koreasat 5 spacecraft is fully fueled, encapsulated and ready for mating with a Zenit-3SL rocket in the great assembly hall of the Sea Launch Commander. Placed on a transporter, the spacecraft is rolled out from the Payload Processing Facility and prepared for the brief transfer to the ship.

The payload team pauses to commemorate the moment and then gets into action.

The Payload Unit rolls down the road and onto the stern ramp of the ship. An air conditioning unit at the front of the transporter maintains the proper temperature and pressure for the spacecraft - through the orange tubing - to keep it healthy.
