Assessment and Repairs of Communications Systems - Part 3 The process of bringing down the communication antennas is challenging. Sea Launch brings special cranes onto the pier, positioned between the vessels. The cranes have the capability to extend upward to more than 200 feet to pick up the heavy antennas and their related support structures and bring them safely to the ground.
