Assessment and Repairs of Communications Systems - Part 4 The Marine Line of Sight provides a primary datalink between the Odyssey Launch Platform and the Sea Launch Commander, including two-way telephony and data flow. It also enables remote control of the platform from the bridge of the ship, during launch operations, when all personnel are positioned on the ship, including the captain of the Odyssey. Here, this antenna is lifted from the top of the platform's mast and carefully lowered to the pier for evaluation.
