A test of the cable mast demonstrates its integrity for mission operations…
Here the mast is released from the erector (part of the transporter-erector launch support structure. The cable mast contains wires and connector cables that provide an electrical umbilical to the rocket. It releases at liftoff and is often visible in our launch photos.
