June 10 - The rocket rests on the transporter-erector in the hangar on the Launch Platform.

It rolls out of the hangar toward the stern of the platform, and with the help of four industrial-strength hydraulic pumps, lifts the Zenit-3SL rocket to a vertical position on the launch pad.

Once erect, the Sea Launch team puts the system through a series of tests.

The next day, the rocket is lowered to a horizontal position and returned to the hangar for transit to the launch site on the equator.
