Transfer
encapsulated satellite from Payload Processing Facility to Assembly
and Command Ship
September 28 - Payload Unit, containing Thuraya Satellite, rolls out
of Payload Processing Facility for transfer to the Sea Launch Commander,
where it is mated with the upper stage - the Block DM - of the Zenit-3SL
launch vehicle.

Unit is lined up for transfer to the Sea Launch Commander
(at right). The Odyssey Launch Platform can be seen moored
behind the Sea Launch Commander.
