Serguei Gugkaev is the Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors of Sea Launch SA, serving in this capacity since 2012.
Since graduating with a degree in Law from Moscow State University, Mr. Gugkaev has served in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as a Managing Director for a subsidiary company operating within in the international power tools market.
Prior to that, Mr. Gugkaev held a variety of positions within the Swiss investment banking industry functioning as a financial and strategic advisor to the oil industry, private-public infrastructure partnerships and the information technology industry.
Mr. Gugkaev holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration in the Management of Technology (MoT) from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the Université de Lausanne (UNIL-HEC).
He is fluent in the Russian, French and English languages. Mr. Gugkaev has resided in Geneva, Switzerland since 2004.
